410 series scrap

Type 410 exhibits good corrosion resistance to atmospheric corrosion, potable water, and to mildly corrosive chemical environments because of the ability to form a tightly adherent oxide film which protects the surface from further attack.hall consist of carbon 0.15%,magnese 1%,Phosphorous 0.040%,Sulfur 0.030%,Silicon 1%,Chromium 11-13%. 430 can readily be fabricated by cold working. Typical operations include bending, forming, deep drawing and upsetting.

430 series scrap

Type 430 is a low-carbon plain chromium ferritic stainless steel.Shall consist of carbon 0.12%,magnese 1%,Phosphorous 0.040%,Sulfur 0.030%,Silicon 1%,Chromium 16-18%,Nickel 0.5%. 430 can readily be fabricated by cold working.

201 series scrap

Steels with Cr-Mn-Ni-N composition were called 200 Series of Stainless Steel. Shall consist of carbon 0.15%,magnese 7.50%,Phosphorous 0.060%,Sulfur 0.030%,Silicon 1%,Chromium 16-18%,Nickel 3.5-5.5%, Nitrogen 0.25%.The physical and mechanical properties are quite compatible. 200 series also has additional component of Carbon, which gives higher effectiveness to the austenitic nature of Stainless Steel.
